I'm keeping everything crossed in the hope that the forecaters have all got the weather wrong! Sunday is the much awaited West Compton Vintage Country Fayre and I've had a busy couple of days making in preparation. I'm hoping the weather will surprise us and the making wont all be in vain.
So before the rain started I headed outside to take some pictures... This is me trying to take the picture myself. Much leaning over and guesswork going on!
Bags from vintage fabrics and all fully lined.
Lots of lilac bunting to match some cushions I've made and a quilt I may have finished by Sunday!
Sadly the wind was already quite gusty and I ended up with bunting everywhere so back inside for the rest.
A pretty folding Triang crib with drapes and vintage Beatrix Potter fabcric bedding.
I'm having a bit of a cushion fest at the moment. Loving making bolsters!
Some Foxy Ladies. I'll be lucky if I can get these out of the house!
Also been playing around with lamps this week. More of that to follow. My it's getting dark here, better get the lamp on!!
So, if you're in the area on Sunday pop along to West Compton. Paul Atterbury from the Antiques Roadshow will be there along with a host of lovely stalls and lots of good old fashioned fun and games! Click on the link on the side bar.
Hello, You'll find me tucked away in lovely Dorset in my own little greeny bluey world. I rapidly while away my spare time creating vintage children's furnishings. This blog is a bit of a diary of my makes, buys and vintage events. Thanks for popping by and don't be shy, leave me a comment!
