If you know me, you'll know..

I shall struggle to part with these...
All my favourite colours in lovely barkcloth.
Really I could keep them and they'd match anything in my wardrobe!
But no, I've already made myself two new bags this spring, needs must and they're heading off to my Etsy shop.
I've loved using my big yellow tote this holiday so I've made smaller ones too.
Also a larger version of the painterly squares.
These go over your shoulder nicely and I can confirm you can stash a whole load of stuff in them! Perfect for car booting etc...
I was disappointed to miss Talent for Textiles this week as I was on the look out for more fabric but the little jammers just could not be persuaded along.
Instead we headed out on foot to our local market just round the corner. I had plants in mind but what should I spot...
I picked up this lovely blue and grey barkcloth...

  so all was not lost!
Welcome aboard new followers. Thank you for taking the time to find me and to read.

  5. Love the bags. It is hard to part with something that you have put so much of yourself into, just think you'll be making someone else happy when they are using your lovely bags :-) Rowen@Coastal Colours x

  6. Such beautiful bags!
I always struggle to part with anything that I have made. Even when its something I wouldn't use, I just want to keep it and look at something that I have managed to make.

I'm having a giveaway over on my blog if you would like to take a look :)

  11. Hi Ellie,
What beautiful bags. I found your message about the green spotty satchel on my blog. I got it from a small shop in Peterborough called Isiss. It used to be a market stall and it has now gone into a tiny unit in our town centre which probably isn't much use to you as you live in Dorset. The name on the satchel is L.Y.D.C so I don't know if it is worth googling the name. Mine cost £34, and I do
really love using it. Hope that helps.
