Today was the day we'd been waiting for... giveaway day!
I must say it's been more fun having our own giveaway than entering them. That's not to say I shan't enter should you feel the urge to hold your own but it's been fun counting up the comments and doing the lucky dip bit.

Much to their delight, each little jammer got to pick a name from one of the stockings that were up for grabs.
Go on Little Jammer get stuck in, have a good rummage, only pick one...
Next it was Big Jammer's turn. She delved deep to the toe of the stocking and pulled out Nattie of Florence and Rose!
Congratulations to Julie and Nattie. I shall be in touch via your blogs for your addresses and then a stocking will be winging it's way to you in the next few days.
Now on to another matter to do with the first of the month...
I am a big fan of Sophie's blog Fading Grace. She takes great photos and has a nice mix of stories, local stuff and vintage and making of course. Anyway this morning I was pleased to read her post titled Love is... (those 70's/80's cartoons). She is inviting people to join her for advent in choosing something that is "Love is" each day. It kept popping into my mind all day then I went to Little Jammer's school art gallery and had to photograph her portrait as Mr Jam couldn't make it. Then I knew I had it!
Love is... your 5 year old's interpretation of her life.
