Thank you for your comments on my last post. It's funny how everyone remembers their first car and I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one who names them!
Yesterday was our first proper trip out in Tintin. Being a blue car I decided he'd look his best by the sea so in the morning we headed off to West Bay for some better photos...
He had many an admiring glance and attracted much attention in the carpark.
As usual we had Emily Button tagging along. She thought Tintin was a much prettier car for photos and posed happily in the sun much to the amusement of passers by.

lovely post, i grew up near west bay and i've always said i wanted to live in the pink house on the pier, i havnt been down for a while so was so pleased to see my house looking so fine !

ReplyDeleteMissed your last post as house full of visitors!,,,, just read it and so excited for you, what a gorgeous boy he is....My first car was a silver mini named bullet, he sadly blew up!...then there was a yellow mini named custard....sadly blew up!,,,, next a blue mini can't remember name...next a white one...sadly went for scrap...Gasp :-(. I LOVE mini's but only old ones, not new fandagly ones :-). Tin Tin will have lots of adventures can't wait see where you will go next,...France? xx

Tin tin is very hansome and the back ground in these photo's really works very well. West Bay is such a wonderful place to go in all seasons. Fantastic photo's

ReplyDeleteTintin is the twin to my first car, Betsy the Blue. My parking was atrocisous back then and I always found it handy to have a vehicle that myself and a few willing souls could actually pick up and move around...
